The owner intends to award a contract for services to the qualified bidders whose proposal is the most advantageous to the school district. The Respondent shall provide up to 50 hours of professional technical support dedicated to the proactive monitoring, management, and troubleshooting of the Owner’s network infrastructure, which includes the Wide Area Network (WAN) equipment as it relates to the district’s internal connections and core switching, The respondent shall provide up to 50 hours of professional technical support dedicated to the proactive monitoring, management, and troubleshooting of the owner’s network infrastructure, which includes the wide area network (wan) equipment as it relates to the district’s internal connections and core switching, the local area network (lan), wireless local area network (wlan) equipment, and the server environment. These services will encompass, but are not limited to: identifying, diagnosing, and resolving connectivity problems and network outages; conducting audits of existing network security systems to ensure compliance with best practices and industry standards; making strategic recommendations to improve network performance, reliability, and scalability; and assisting the internal it team with the planning, implementation, and documentation of configuration changes or upgrades to the equipment specified in this rfp. The respondent will also be expected to provide guidance on emerging technologies, offer knowledge transfer to owner’s staff when applicable, and maintain clear communication regarding issues identified, steps taken, and recommendations for long-term network stability.
