Work includes water treatment residuals removal & disposal for water treatment plant no. 2 sludge drying lagoon

South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority

The project includes installation of a lined drying bed at the west river water treatment plant, inclusive of an underdrain system to collect leachate. A pump station is will be installed to collect drying bed leachate and precipitation and pump it up to the existing lagoons. Further, a force main connecting the pump station to the lagoon influent piping will be installed, along with lagoon desludging pumps in each lagoon.
