VFD Water Treatment Plant

Provide a new variable frequency drive (VFD) and its installation at the water treatment plant. Disconnect and lock-out power to the VFD section of the existing Altivar cabinet at the Water Treatment Plant; Locate and label control wires interconnecting the original VFD to the control cabinet in office; Disconnect and cap all wires to be reinstalled; Remove all components past the existing Square D 400amp breaker in cabinet; Remove existing cabinet ventilation system to allow depth for new VFD in needed; Provide and install any necessary materials to reinforce cabinet to support new VFD if needed. New VFD should be installed in the existing cabinet. Cabinet may require modification. Install replacement VFD; Install new key pad in cabinet door; Reconnect all control wires; Install new THHN copper conductors with new lugs from existing Square D 400amp breaker to new VFD input; Provide and install new distribution block extending new 250mcm THHN copper conductors to new VFD output if needed; Provide and install new intake cooling fan/filter combo and exhaust filter; Provide and install control transformer, fusing, and thermostat for cooling fan.
