Hospice Services.

University Health - Business Center

Provide services under the general inpatient (GIP) program. The goal of hospice is to ensure that patients receive patient-centric care in a comfortable environment with an acceptable pain level, allowing them to spend their final days with quality support, in a dignified manner. Additionally, hospice services offer supportive care to family members during this time. The hospice team includes the nurse, hospice nurse aide, social worker, chaplain and medical director. Provide input on the provision of clubhouse services that are intended to help clients build emotional, cognitive, and social skills. Clubhouses are meeting places for adults with behavioral health conditions that provide safe settings for members to participate in and find structured support among peers who share similar lived experiences.
