The purpose of the timber cruises will be to assist the client agency in acquiring the easements authorized for the project. The contractor shall provide a determination of forest value, through professional timber evaluation services including a timber cruise and report detailing the current market value of the existing timber and any other information deemed necessary to produce a complete and credible report. The contractor shall also provide the forest value assuming harvesting restrictions imposed by the Government’s Flowage, Developmental Control, and Environmental Protection easement are in place (see attached draft easement).cruises).
