U.S. Army Engineer District FT Worth
The scope of this contract is for maintenance dredging via pipeline or mechanical dredging of the TCSC Main Channel with an option for the Main Turning Basin. Priority dredging is anticipated to occur from stations 8+000 to 25+000 of the main channel. However, the contract will address the entire main channel for dredging as needed. Placement will be into Shoal Point Placement Area (SPPA) 2, and/or SPPA 3-4-5 and/or the Texas City Dike PAs. Approx. 1,000,000 CY will be placed in upland confined and semi-confined placement areas.

Ship channel placement areas no. 5 and 6 improvements. Work will consist of a 3 ft dike raise, outfall structure repair, and could include ditching and dewatering.

The brunswick harbor entrance channel advanced maintenance widener o&m dredging contract provides construction services, including furnishing personnel, transportation, mobilization and demobilization, equipment and materials required in connection with maintenance dredging. Approximately two million cubic yards of maintenance material is expected to be removed from the advanced maintenance wideners and adjacent entrance channel.

The work consists of the dredging and disposal of material from the Tiger Pass Ship Channel. Approx. 2.25 million CY of material will be dredged from the channel to restore navigation. The dredged material will be disposed of via pipeline into disposal sites specified in the Plans and Specifications. All disposal sites will be single point discharge.
