The grounds are comprised of approx. 420,000 SF of asphalt roadways and parking areas and approx. 61,000 SF of concrete sidewalks. Snow removal shall be ongoing until there is no active accumulation of snow, slush, or ice on walkways. Snow removal will be considered complete when snow, ice, and/or slush has been removed down to the pavement, concrete or asphalt and deposited on adjacent grass areas, and no additional snowfall, slush, or ice accumulation is anticipated. Snow removal parking lots: a. All parking lots, entrances, and driving areas hall be plowed, salted, and maintained to a safe and usable condition at all times. b. All snow removal and deicing services shall be done at night, when possible, so that contracted areas will be cleared by the start of the workday. c. Snow and ice shall be plowed or moved away from building entrances, ramps, steps, handicap access points, fire lanes, dumpsters and parking lots. d. No snow shall be plowed or piled onto any landscape planting beds, onto or in front of dumpsters, placed in Handicap or patient areas, in front of HVAC equipment, in front of fire hydrants or stored on the roof of the parking garage. e. Keep floor drains and catch basins clear of snow and ice at all times. See attached file.
