Units shall be rated for HS-20 live load. Detectable Warning Units: i) Raised detectable warning units shall meet all requirements of ADA. NYSDOT approved Cast Iron Tactile Strips shall be the only approved material for this item. ii) NYSDOT 726-01 Surface Applied Detectable Warning Units. iii) NYSDOT 726-02 Embedded Detectable Warning Units.
