Next Generation High Frequency Radio System – Shore (HFRS-S)

The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Office: C5I Division 3 Portsmouth, issued a Sources Sought / Request for Information (RFI) to conduct market research for a Next Generation High Frequency Radio System – Shore (HFRS-S) to replace end-of-life HF shore communications equipment. The RFI requests industry input on commercially available HF transceivers, receivers, high-power amplifiers, power supplies, remote control interfaces, and related training/support to ensure beyond-line-of-sight communications across multiple shore sites. Responses are for market research only (not a solicitation for award); interested vendors should provide capability statements, ROM cost estimates, and commented draft specification documents by the response date.
