Kearney, Nebraska 2026 Part 1 Improvements Avenue A (31st Street to 35th Street)

City of Kearney

Reconfiguration of the intersection of Avenue to include a southbound left-turn lane and new traffic signal. Removing existing pavement and mid-block crossing and placing 1,500 SY of 8" concrete pavement and 4,700 SF of concrete sidewalk. This project also consists of storm sewer improvements, traffic signal installation and associated electrical work, pavement striping and all other associated work.

City of McCleary

Provide architectural and engineering professional services to prepare engineering (PE), right-of-way acquisition services, and construction engineering services for the South Third Street - Oak Street tot Simpson Avenue project includes roadway improvements, pedestrian facilities, drainage improvements, and utility relocations as necessary. Improvements include sidewalks, street lighting, street amenities (landscaping, signage, etc.), and stormwater management systems.

City of Durand

Work includes 650 ID clearing and grubbing; 20,200 SY remove asphalt & concrete; 5,900 LF remove curb & gutter; 6,500 CY excavation; 3,300 LF water main (4", 6", 8" and 10") and appurtenances; 1,900 LF sanitary sewer (8", 10", and 21") and appurtenances; 3,400 LF storm sewer (12", 15", 18", 24", and 30") and appurtenances; 120 LF 5' x 10' brick arch culvert concrete cap; 4,500 CY crushed aggregate base; 6,200 LF concrete curb and gutter; 38,600 SF concrete sidewalk and driveways (4" and 6"); 16,000 SY hot mix asphalt (2", 3", and 4"); 5,400 LF pavement markings; 6,000 SY topsoil, turf, grasses, and erosion matt.
