Integration and redesign the Digital Map Computer (DMC)/Digital Video Map Computer (DVMC), and Flight Control Computer (FCC) in support of the F/A-18

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Air Combat Electronics Program (PMA 209) is procuring integration and redesign services for the Digital Map Computer (DMC), Digital Video Map Computer (DVMC), and Flight Control Computer (FCC) to support the F/A-18 E/F and EA-18G Automatic Ground Collision Avoidance Systems (AGCAS) program. The work includes engineering and technical support, Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) for DMC/DVMC software integration, third-party lab support, and government flight testing to incorporate ATAWS software modules and interface design documents enabling automatic recovery from potential CFIT events. The notice identifies L3Harris Technologies, Inc. (Palm Bay, FL) as the intended/sole-source contractor under 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1)/FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) and lists Palm Bay, FL as the place of performance.
