DESIGN-BUILD: Design and construction of elevator modernization project.

Provide comprehensive replacement/modernization of existing elevator systems. Remove the existing controller and replace it with a new non-proprietary controller. All components used in the controllers must be standard industrial electronic components that assure the highest reliability, lowest cost, and ready availability in the marketplace, resulting in lower cost of maintenance and minimal downtime for building owners. Remove the existing wiring and replace it with new as follows: new traveling cable to extend from inside the elevator cab to the machine room. New wiring throughout the hoistway. Soliciting Proposals from qualified Proposers for the furnishing of all materials, labor, tools, equipment and appurtenances necessary for Jail Elevator Modernization. The terms of the contract will provide Maintenance for each elevator modernized for a period of 5 years (following the warranty period).
