Review of the existing emr platform, its functionality, interfaces, and integration points to the county's dental and pharmacy platforms, lab services platform, as well as connections to state and community partner platforms. Partner with regional and national public health agencies to evaluate and benchmark successful ehr implementations. This collaboration will inform our selection and optimization of ehr systems, ensuring alignment with best practices, interoperability standards, and public health goals. Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health seeks proposals from healthcare organizations to create a system for remote electronic health record access to support infectious disease investigations. Funding ranges from $5,000 to $10,000 per organization, with a focus on improving case investigation efficiency and reducing reporting burdens. The initiative is supported by a CDC cooperative agreement.
