Consulting Services for County Employee Benefits Plan. Benefits Consultant shall furnish the following services: a) Assist with procuring service providers, third party administrators and/or insurers for benefits outside of the FUND; which could include, dental insurance, vision care discount plans, employee assistance programs (currently a separate RFP conducted by the owner), flexible spending accounts, supplemental personal insurance programs, and other health or welfare benefit programs upon request. b) Review the County's and Park Commission's current cost of benefit plans against potential alternative plans by modeling historical claim experience. Compare these costs to market trends and make recommendations for future cost containment, whether services should be added or altered, while maintaining existing level of benefits, and offer suggestions on how to provide incentives to covered persons to more efficiently utilize available benefits. c) Review of the entity’s assessments and assist in preparing the entity's health insurance budget. d) Explanation of the coverage that is provided by the FUND and assistance to the entity in selecting proper coverage.
