U.S. Army Engineer District New England
The proposed work consists of repairing two large portions and a few small areas of a rubble mound breakwater structure that has been damaged from storms since its completion in 1916. There are two (2) repairs areas plus multiple small minor repair areas. Repair Area 1 is approx. 800 F long and Repair Area 2 is approx. 850 F long. Repair Area 2 and the minor repair zones are optional items. Anticipated stone required for Repair Area 1 includes approx. 8,800 tons of 6-10 ton armor stone and for Repair Area 2, includes approx. 5,900 tons of 6-10 ton armor stone. The minor repair areas are isolated locations of damage that are estimated to need 2-3 new armor stones to restore the structure. The repair areas will be constructed with 1.5H:1V side slopes.

Work includes restore and enhance the performance of the existing breakwater within its original footprint, while integrating nature-based solutions to protect the interior shoreline, reduce flood risk, and improve water quality and nearshore habitat conditions.
U.S. Army Engineer District Seattle
Provide grays harbor inner harbor dredging. The contractor will be required to perform turbidity monitoring during dredging and disposal operations. The contractor will also be responsible for adhering to all in-water work timing restrictions and for suspending operations during the specified Tribal fishing closure window each season.
Hawaii Department of Transportation
Refuse collection and disposal services including all labor, transportation, equipment, rubbish bins and other appurtenances necessary to collect and dispose of refuse for harbor.
