Construction Misc. Paving Project

The work involves paving approximately 5.11 center line miles of mainline roads in various locations throughout the district as well as . The work includes construction traffic control, dust abatement and final grading of owner reconstructed base course, and paving roads and approaches. Pavement for 4.01 miles of mainline roads shall be plant mix having nominal maximum aggregate size and pg 70-28 asphalt binder. Pavement for 1.10 miles of mainline roads shall be plant mix having nominal maximum aggregate size and pg 64-28 asphalt binder. The typical pavement section for the mainline roads is 3" thick and 26 LF wide. The roundabout pavement shall be plant mix pavement, sp-3 with pg 64-28 asphalt binder. The roundabout pavement will be 0.30 thick for robinson/locust and 0.33 thick for southside/deer flat, laid in two lifts.
