While the Owner is still in the construction professional selection phase and no design work has yet been completed, the Owner currently anticipates the McKenzie Center for Innovation & Technology Facility Transformation Project will be done in two or more phases over a period of approximately four years and will include, but not be limited to, (a) complete renovation of the interior and exterior of the main building, (b) upgrade of all classrooms, including, but not limited to, ceilings, walls, flooring and lighting, (c) demolition of existing early childhood education classroom areas and construction of a two-story addition in its location, (d) exterior site improvements, including, but not limited to, driveway and parking lot repair, replacement, restoration and reconfiguration, fencing upgrades as well as walkways and gating for traffic and student protection, (e) upgrades to all interior and exterior lighting systems to LED lighting, as well as upgrades and updates to all plumbing, heating and air conditioning, electrical, technology and security and safety systems, and (f) repair, replacement and/or restoration of the roofing system.
