Condenser Water Pumps Replacement At Austin Energy’s District Cooling Plant No. 2 (DCP2) (RFP)

Replacement of 86 dwelling unit heat pump and water heaters including thermostats, ductwork, gypsum board, metal furring enclosures, soffits and accessories. Also inclues replacement of existing rooftop cooling tower unit.

City of Wichita

Replace nine (9) chilled water pumps plus associated piping and valves. Remove and replace 9 split-coupled vertical in-line pumps: 800-ton chiller (condenser side): 1 pump - series 4300, 10x10x13, 75hp; 800-ton chiller (evaporator side): 2 pumps; 400-ton chiller (condenser side): 2 pumps - series 4300, 8x8x10, 30hp; 400-ton chiller (evaporator side): 2 pumps; secondary chilled water system: 2 pumps. Replace 18 isolation butterfly valves: 8 x 10" valves; 8 x 8" valves; 2 x 12" valves. Supply, install, and modify electrical service and components as needed for pump operation. Perform high pressure water jet cleaning of the A-1 Main Condenser, two (2) Boiler Feed Pump Condenser Tubes, and three (3) Equipment Cooling Water Heat Exchangers.
