The Contractor shall provide all chemicals/herbicides, labor, required permits, dump fees, tools, travel, fuel cost, equipment, and materials to provide quarterly maintenance of storm-water areas for the control of nuisance and invasive vegetation on an as needed basis from the designated areas. The Contractor shall be responsible for water quality testing to determine the level of dissolved oxygen prior to treatment, to ensure that the oxygen level is high enough to allow for safe treatment. The Contractor may perform additional routine water analysis and/or bacteriological analysis, if required, for the success of the water management program. The Contractor shall also be responsible for South West Florida Water Management District (SWFMS) water use permitting, SWFMD permitting renewal inspections, and recertification’s of SWFMD requirements. There are currently 49 locations that require SWFWMD inspections. This number can fluctuate based on expiring and/or new permits. Pricing shall include all costs for labor, supervision, travel, fuel cost, chemicals/herbicides, required permits, dump fees, hand tools, hand operated power tools, such as chain saws, and clam truck.
