The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract to Raytheon for continued AIM-9X missile improvement activities, including NRE for hardware, software development/support, trade studies, risk reduction, test assets and engineering changes. The AIM-9X program is a joint Department of the Navy and USAF program with requirements for DoN, USAF and various FMS customers.
