Advanced Fire Control System Development

Accelerated advanced FCS development - (Completion)accelerated advanced FCS development - (Completion): the contractor shall provide design and development efforts and necessary materials to accelerate development of the advanced FCS and associated derisking activities. Activities shall be in alignment with scope approved by the government during quarterly agile planning increments (PIs) toward the advancement of the SWS program of record (POR). Activities shall include, but not limited to continuous development activities, prototyping, demonstration of capabilities, interfaces, acceleration of backlog, trade studies and detailed analysis. All activities shall be performed in accordance with the applicable technical program management practices and governing documents. The contractor shall execute continuous development backlog grooming, pi planning and pi closeout activities, perform trade studies and analysis, concept exploration, prototyping, design and development activities, and execution of applicable demonstrations.
