New Hope Christian School
The replacement of the existing air-cooled chiller and upgrading the controls system. The recommended basis of design is a Trane Ascend ACS215 (approx. 215-ton) air-cooled scroll chiller, replacing the existing 270-ton RTAA unit. The existing machine has a history of low-load trips (low suction pressure); per operating history, one circuit was down (≈60% capacity) for the 2025 cooling season with no loss of comfort.

Project consists of the replacement of an existing air cooled chiller and thermal storage system with a new air cooled chiller and primary pumps. Other work includes electrical and general construction updates to accommodate the mechanical equipment replacement.
