Work requires stabilizing and mitigating erosion of the roadway embankment by constructing a dynamic revetment adjacent to the highway to protect it from wave action, and traffic control includes 29,400 CY revetment foundation preparation, 2,700 CY wetland excavation incl. placement, 17,800 ton streamed cobbles 6" - on site stockpile, 111,300 ton streambed cobbles 6", 53 EA large woody material - log without rootwad dia 18" to 24", 113,400 ton quarry spalls, 4,790 ton rock for rock wall - type four, 19.2 acre soil preparation, 3.2 acre sand surfacing.
