Winton Woods Parky's Farm Composting Facility and Electrical Additions and Modifications

Work includes the construction of a covered biochar composting facility for horse manure storage, as well as installation of electrical outlets throughout the farm for holiday light displays. The compost facility generally consists of a three sided 100' x 20' pre-fabricated metal building covering six cast-in-place concrete bays on spread footings. The floor of the bays/building is a 6” fiber reinforced concrete pad. This work also includes the relocation of 6” and 3” water lines around the building, storm sewer/drainage, a small, vegetated wetland for treating runoff, a concrete drive apron in front of the building, and miscellaneous site improvements around the building. The electrical work consists of providing power and lighting to the biochar composting facility.
