Town Park Stormwater Improvements

Construction of the park place stormwater basin improvements project. The project includes edge treatment improvements to the Park Place stormwater management basin north of Monticello Lane to address areas of erosion. The project will re-establish the aquatic bench along the perimeter of the basin due to the normal pool being lowered by 19" to alleviate an upstream stormwater management deficiency. Additionally, the project will improvement the basin edge aesthetic that resulted in lowering the normal pool by 19".

Project include improving the maintenance of the pond facilities and reducing the flooding at the outfall of the site. This includes constructing a wet forebay at the main inflow, enlarged principal spillway pipes between the ponds, walkable concrete emergency spillways, and native plants in the pond footprints and in the buffers adjacent to the ponds. Approx. 3. 64 acres will be disturbed with this plan.
