TACAN Test Sets ATC-1400A-2 and T-1401-2

The AN/ARM-135 Intermediate TACAN Test Set requires both the ACT-1400A-2 and the T-1401-2 to perform intermediate testing and repair of the TACAN receiver-transmitter and the TACAN Analog-to- Digital Adapter. The Viavi / Aeroflex ATC-1400A-2 is a Transponder/DME microprocessor based bench tester developed for comprehensive testing and troubleshooting of ATC (Air Traffic Control) / Transponder equipment and DME (Distance Measuring Equipment). The ATC-1400A can be operated either manually using the front panel controls and switches, or remotely by ATE control utilizing the GPIB interface. See attached file.
