Storm Water Mitigation at Patuxent Institution

Summary

Repairs of Institution storm mitigation system. The repairs will fix the water build up into the main entrance of the facility. Prior to any ground digging, the Contractor shall utilize a utility locator to mark any utilities within the designated work area. They are also responsible for the replacement and removal of any concrete during and after the demolition phase. i. The Contractor must ensure that orange construction fencing is placed around any open holes in the work area. Existing seep drains must be removed, with drain pipes capped and abandoned if present. b. The Contractor is tasked with furnishing and installing two (2) concrete inlet boxes with cast iron frame grates. Alongside this, they must install eight (8) feet of 5" channel drain along the sidewalk, directing into the storm drain, and lay approx. 160 LF of 10" SDR 35 pipe. c. Lastly, the Contractor shall seed and straw and disturbed ground during the completion of this project.
