Taylor Municipal Building Skylight Replacement Project.

This project is intended to demolish the existing barrel roof skylight in all locations and replace the skylight with a conventional wood framed, insulated envelope with standing seam metal roof to match the existing roof of the building. The open office area in the Northwest portion of the building will receive a ridge mounted translucent panel system to allow daylight into the space. The existing aluminum clad wood casement windows and wooden shading devices will also be replaced.

The work consists of removal of the existing low-slope EPDM roof assembly to the existing metal roof deck and installation of a fully adhered UL class A single ply thermoplastic 60 mil PVC roof system over an adhered cover board and mechanically attached polyisocyanurate insulation, including associated flashings and sheet metal. The base bid includes replacement of the skylights at the Gallery and Entry Canopies as well as additional miscellaneous scope of work items.
