Wastewater Collection System Operations Services for the City of Paterson Combined Sewer System (CSO).

This project consists of construction of a submersible lift station to convey combined sewer overflows to the City's existing wastewater treatment plant outfall to Guemes Channel. Significant project elements include: Construction of a submersible sanitary sewer lift station, Installation of below grade vaults, Construction of sanitary sewer forcemain, Connection to the existing sewer main, Concrete coring and connection to channel within the existing WWTP, Associated manhole structures, Selective demolition of existing piping and structures, Electrical and controls integration to existing treatment plant hardware, Roadway curb and gutter work and restoration, Testing and assistance during commissioning of new facilities, Surface restoration, The work will be done adjacent to an operating wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). The wastewater treatment plant must remain in continuous operation throughout construction.

Install 16 precast concrete underground drywell structures including associated storm sewer line construction, existing inlet structure modifications, and surface repairs to facilitate the removal of stormwater flows from sanitary sewer facilities.
