Satellite Communications as a Managed Service (SATaaMS)

Task 1 General Service and Capability Requirements: The offeror shall be capable of supplying a global satellite communications capability, providing seamless coverage across the globe. The Army seeks a Satellite Network (or network-of-networks) that can provide service to all combatant commands including those shown in the picture below. This might involve the offeror to use satellites in multiple orbits for redundancy and to mitigate the risk of outages due to technical failures or intentional disruptions. The system must have robust capabilities to safeguard sensitive Army communications from unauthorized access or interference. The system should be able to ensure command and control continuity to the Army's command structure. See attached file.
