Lincoln County
Seeking to contract with an individual or entity to replace or reconstruct a Summer ATV trail bridge. The existing 98 ft x 13 ft wooden bridge was constructed in 2015. Lincoln County had it inspected by an engineer due to the rotting wear decking and the sub decking being soft when trying to use fasteners. The engineer determined that the deck and wear surface were in poor condition and the stringers are only in fair condition and questionable to support an equipment load. Contractor will be responsible for removing the existing wear surface, sub-decking, railings and stringers and disposing of them at the Lincoln County Landfill. Contractor will then reconstruct those portions of the bridge with new materials. The main substructure/abutment components do not require replacement. Proposals for new wood construction or steel frame with wood decking bridges will be considered. See attached file.
