Railroad Underpass Improvements Project

City of Rochester

The City is seeking the services of a Consultant to perform the following services to implement the Project. Respondent’s proposal shall address each of the following services and identified tasks. The proposal shall address each of the requested services, using the same identifying language, including any paragraph or section numbers or letters as used in the Request for Proposals (RFP).

City of Oakland

Work includes to reconstructs the asphalt pavement, sidewalks, curb/gutter, and other major elements adjacent the railroad crossing, civil 3d elements as well as traffic striping/signing improvements.

Rhode Island College

This project consists of signage and striping improvements to various at-grade crossings Statewide to bring locations to conformance with the minimum requirements established within the 2023 MUTCD, Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), and RIDOT Standards. The signing and striping improvements encompassed in this Contract include, but are not limited to, the installation of crossbuck assemblies, yield signs, track number plaques, emergency notification signs, reflective strips on signposts, and yield line striping at fifty-seven (57) locations to make the crossings compliant with current MUTCD standards. Crossings with existing non-compliant signs and/or signposts will have those items removed.
