Arbitrage rebate services, auditing services, engineering services for the general operation of the authority, financial advisory services, insurance producer services, printing services, public relations services, transportation advisory services, bond counsel, general counsel, professional liability and general liability defense counsel, special projects counsel, workers compensation defense counsel.

Essex County

Provide accounting services. The scope of work for accounting services is expected to include but not limited to 1. Assist the financial /technical team with further augmentation/reporting of the County financial system (MSI) 2. Support the county in identifying new internal processes to support the financial system. 3. Advise and recommend policies and procedures to streamline the flow of financial transactions. 4. Assist the departments and divisions within the county with all accounting, internal audit and training as needed. 5. Review system internal controls to ensure that appropriate regulations exist to safeguard and administer the assets of each division. 6. Prepare monthly/quarterly statements of COVID-19 expenses, balance sheet, or other reports as necessary for Board or Committee meetings. 7. Review the general ledger accounting system and current accounting software to ensure that both items support the regulatory and financial reporting needs of the County. 8. Review and verify retroactive salary adjustments in accordance with settled union contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance. 9. Use the Internet-Based Report of Contribution (IROC) system to prepare and report retroactive pension contributions for both current and retired employees.
