Provide Transportation for Elderly Individuals and Individuals with Disabilities

Snohomish County

Snohomish County Human Services Department is currently accepting proposals from qualified applicants for three distinct funding categories supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. The funding for these proposals is comprised of Federal, State, and County funds. These initiatives are designed to support community-based efforts that enable people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live fully, actively participate, and contribute to all areas of community life.

Delaware Department of Health and Social Services

Provides home and community-based services and supports as an alternative to institutional services to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, including brain injury, autism spectrum disorder, and Prader-Willi Syndrome.

New York State Department of Transportation

Availability of approx. $27.2 million in funding through the federal transit administration's (FTA) enhanced mobility of seniors and individuals with disabilities program (section 5310). The section 5310 program supports improved mobility for seniors and individuals with disabilities by removing barriers to transportation services and expanding their transportation mobility options.
