Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) Tranche 3 Transport Layer (T3TL) Upsilon DRAFT

The t3tl constellation will consist of four (4) orbital planes with ten(10) t3tl svs in each plane. The constellation parameters are defined in table 2-1. Every t3tl sv will be interoperable with all pwsa svs, regardless of vendor. The t3tl svs will include optical communications terminals (octs) to support in-plane and cross-plane crosslinks, links to terrestrial octs (ground, air, and maritime), and crosslinks to compatible svs external to the pwsa. The t3tl svs, in conjunction with the sda ocs and the t1, t2, and other t3 svs, will form a communications network that will provide resilient, low-latency, high throughput data transfer to and from any location on the globe.
