Progressive Design-Build Services for the Big Creek Greenway Rehabilitation - Phases 2 & 3, Phase 4, and Bethelview Trailhead (RFP)

Progressive Design-Build services for the Greenway rehabilitation. Replacement of the existing timber boardwalk and timber support posts with a new timber-decked boardwalk supported by helical piles. The work will include grading, paving, drainage improvements, and associated site enhancements to upgrade the current trailhead infrastructure. Demolition and removal of existing asphalt within the designated parking area, followed by the installation of new asphalt pavement to accommodate a reconfigured and restriped parking layout. The improved parking lot will feature ADA-compliant parking spaces that connect to an ADA-accessible concrete ramp system, complete with metal railings and landing pads. Additional improvements include the installation of concrete wheel stops, new pavement striping, and updated regulatory signage, including the relocation of existing ADA signs and the addition of stop, turn, and wrong-way signs to improve traAic circulation and overall safety. A new concrete slab with a thickened edge will be constructed adjacent to the existing maintenance building.
