Department requests written qualifications from licensed and bonded contractors with the City for the purpose of being placed on a pre-qualified list for homeowners to solicit bids for replacement of their property's lead or galvanized service line based on Federal Environmental Protection Agency and the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality Lead Service Line Replacement requirements. The requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications. * To minimize surface disruption, environmental impacts, and costs associated with surface restoration, the project will require the use of trenchless construction methods (e.g., pipe pulling, pipe bursting, directional drilling) for the replacement of lead or galvanized service lines. The firm must demonstrate experience with trenchless technologies specific to water service lines in urban, suburban, and/or constrained environments.
