The current network includes: over 250 miles of fiber-optic cable, 10 hub centers, and 500 traffic signal cabinets. The network supports approx. 3,500 employees, making timely servicing and maintenance of the outside structured cabling system essential. Any work on the network requires the highest level of urgency and close coordination with the network services division of the information technology department. This contract covers the restoration and maintenance (R&M services for aerial and/or underground fiber-optic cable infrastructure, collectively referred to as the "outside plant. " all work under this contract will be performed on an as-needed basis. The contract term will be two (2) years with one optional one-year extension. Services shall begin approx. on March 1, 2025, and end on February 28, 2027
