Thornton is seeking Proposals from Service Providers to provide environmental cleanup services for both planned and emergency responses on an on-call, as-needed basis.
Connecticut Office of the Attorney General
Qualified environmental emergency response firms that can provide hazardous materials response services. The Services include investigation, containment, cleanup, transport, and disposal of oil, chemicals, hazardous waste, asbestos, and CBRNE contaminants.

Provide personal emergency response systems services.
Allegheny County Port Authority
To provide “On Call” emergency environmental response for spills and releases of regulated substances to support response and interim remedial actions of Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) as specified herein. The scope of work requires the Service Provider to initiate a response seven days a week, 24-hours a day within one hour of notification, and provide all necessary equipment and manpower, to stabilize the site, control health and safety hazards, recover free product, prevent additional releases and cleanup, and dispose of all released and response materials.
