NTC 3D Relief Map

3D Relief Map: 8' by 5.8' tabletop 3D map that is a solid and mobile means to conduct long range sandbox planning. Nonrecurring design, tooling, set-up of 3D Terrain Map of NTC at Fort Irwin, CA. 3D area 96" x 69.5", with overall size about 100" x 74", scale 1:24,000, with up to 3" of vertical relief. Map to be constructed with four separate panels to be joined together for display. 3D map must be able to utilize production-ready map graphics of custom 1st ABCT map overlay. Must be able to draw unit graphics on the 3D map via dry erase markers. Task includes data integration, 3D design, thermoform mold design/construction (4 sets), production set­up, and transport case design. 3D map must be able to be broken up in 4 large panels to fit in 4 separate Pelican boxes for transportation. 4 panels to be joined together for display on a horizontal table.
