This Grant Program aims to support innovative efforts to enhance, promote, and develop sustainable recreation and tourism opportunities and increase access for all to public lands in the Sierra-Cascade region. Program goals include improving access to nature and outdoor recreation opportunities, reducing impacts of overuse on natural and cultural resources, and supporting the development of sustainable recreation economies.

King County

Provide the King County Solid Waste Division (SWD) with circular economy projects, research, programs, and technical services on a Work Order basis. Consulting firm or team of firms qualified in the field of solid waste management, environmental research & analysis, evaluation, policy development, market development for recycled materials, outreach and lobbying. The firm(s) will have the ability to provide research, analysis, and insights on a broad range of projects and programs that create a more circular economy.
