North Colorado Springs Readiness Center Battery Backup and Microgrid

Design-build: work includes the design, equipment selection, permitting, bonding and installation of a battery energy storage system (bess) system capable of providing net ac peak power of at least 125 kw, a storage capacity of 400 kwh, at 480 volt, 3-phase, 4-wire power, the work also includes the necessary control equipment to automatically transfer power between the existing 260kw pv system, the bess, the existing 80 kw diesel generator, and the grid to reduce peak demand through peak shaving and/or load shifting.
