City of Douglas

The project scope involves replacing the aging water main with approx. 1,550 linear feet (LF) of 12" pvc water main. In addition to the water main, the work includes the replacement/installation of water services, fire hydrants, fittings, and valves. The work also comprises miscellaneous sanitary sewer work and the replacement of concrete components. Finally, the road restoration involves installing an asphalt trench patch over the new water main and a complete mill and overlay of 4th street from center to pine street. Work includes. 1760 LF of 12" dr18 c900 water main; 100 LF of 8" dr18 c900 irrigation water main; 200 CY of foundation material; 500 CY of imported select backfill; 250 LF of miscellaenous concrete sidewalk; 3700 SY of 4" asphalt with 10" grading 'w' base course; 4200 SY of 2" cold milling; 200 CY of subgrade repair; 7900 SY of geotextile paving fabric; 7900 SY of 2" asphalt pavement overlay.

Borough of Atglen

Provide street improvements that will include 920 LF furnish and install 15" dia. smooth-lined hdpe pipe including excavation and backfill; 3 EA furnish and install flexstorm inlet filter inserts; 80 SF remove and dispose of existing sidewalk; 80 SF construct cement concrete sidewalk; 1 LS connect existing 8-inch steel drainage pipe to inlet-2; 1 LS remove and dispose of existing stormwater inlets and pipes as shown on the plans; 1 LS abandon existing stormwater pipe in-place, excavate, cut, cap pipe, and backfill.
