Township of Delanco

The Municipal Prosecutor shall be appointed by the Township Committee by a majority vote of a quorum of its members and shall serve for a term of one (1) year from the first day of January of the year of appointment and until his successor has been appointed and qualified. The Municipal Prosecutor shall be an attorney-at-law of New Jersey. In lieu of appointing an individual attorney, Committee may appoint a firm of attorneys, all members of which shall be attorneys-at-law of New Jersey. The Municipal Prosecutor shall be appointed in a manner consistent with the Local Public Contracts Law and shall execute a written contract with the Township and the Municipal Prosecutor shall receive such fees as shall be agreed upon by the Township Committee.

Borough of Seaside Park

Municipal Prosecutor by way of a one (1) year contract ending December 31, 2026. Responsibilities of the Municipal Prosecutor shall include: Providing prosecutorial services to the Municipal Court pursuant to N.J.S.A. 2B:25-1 et seq. and the Regulations of the Administrative Office of the Courts; Representing the State of New Jersey and the Borough of Seaside Park, over which the court has jurisdiction; Attending the municipal court session(s) scheduled each month; Providing access to the Seaside Park Borough Police Department by phone on an as needed basis; and Scheduling flexibility for any special trials, as may be required.
