Summary
MTSS Training and Professional Development 1. Support the MTSS Supervisor and District Staff with creating protocols for both
academic and behavioral Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support. Work product completion will include districtwide SOP documents and support for turn-key training experiences of Tier 1 classroom management interventions. Training sessions and support for the
MTSS Supervisor will take place monthly throughout the year for no less than 10 hours per year. 2. Provide one full day of training to the administrative team on effective Tier 1, Tier 2, and
Tier 3 processes and procedures specifically geared toward behavioral interventions and management on either July 7, 2026 or July 8, 2026.
3. Support administration in strengthening all MTSS structures strictly following the New Jersey Tiered System of Supports and Intervention and Referral Services (I&RS) in New Jersey Schools model supported by Rutgers University while embedding restorative
practices, PBSIS, and working within the culturally responsive framework. 4. Provide cohort training for guidance counselors, instructional coaches, teachers and administrators in the effective support and implementation of Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3
leadership in the area. The training areas will include no less than 10 hours per year.
