Meridian Animal Shelter (RFP)

The project consists of demolition of the existing animal shelter for the city to be replaced by a newly constructed animal shelter approx. 2,065 SF in size. The project will include kennel spaces, animal wash rooms, animal adoption area, staff office space and a a new covered carport/drive-through. The new animal shelter consists of CMU and wood stud walls with pre-engineered clear span wood trusses, standing seam metal roof. The building envelope consists of cementitious board and batten panels. The carport/covered drive-through consists of an open-air pre-engineered metal building structure with an exposed fastener roof. Alternate 1 - OMIT the carport/covered drive-through and aluminum entrance canopy for existing building adjacent to new construction.
