Melrose Police Station: GC & FSB Prequalification (Request for Qualifications)

Construction of a new 27,000 SF Police station building located on the current Beebe school site adjacent to the Milano Family Senior center and the Beebe estate in Melrose, MA. Along with the construction of the new all electric LEED Certified building, work includes: demolition of the existing concrete & masonry school building structure, complete site redevelopment & utilities infrastructure work, construction in & along West Foster Street. Scope also includes coordination with existing / new site utilities; complete new E911 / police dispatch center; detainee processing, detention, monitoring areas; secure evidence storage areas; command and administrative staff areas, as well as a series of both public and staff only secured spaces.
