Market Survey: Frg ATCT Fence And Gate Replacement Located At Airport Traffic Control Tower (Frg Atct), E. Farmingdale, Ny.

Demolition and disposal of two (2) existing manual chain link fence driveway gates and adjacent chain link fence sections as shown on the project drawings; Removal of one (1) existing chain link fence pedestrian gate, including all gate hardware and security system hardware and reinstallation in a different location as shown on the project drawings; Removal of one (1) mailbox, mailbox pedestal support and hardware used to install it through the chain link fence fabric and reinstallation in a different location on a new concrete foundation as shown on the project drawings. Demolition and disposal of one section of 3’ W concrete sidewalk and construction of a new section of concrete sidewalk as shown on the project drawings. Installation of one (1) new automated chain link vertical pivot gate and operator, card reader/intercom stanchion and associated security system hardware (card reader, video intercom, safety devices, ground loops, etc.) as shown on the project drawings. Installation of new security chain link fence sections adjacent to the new gates to establish the new layout as indicated on the drawings. Electrically grounding of all new chain link fence and gates and connection to the existing chain link fence counterpoise grounding system according to the project drawings, manufacturer’s requirements, this specification, and applicable FAA standards and orders. Installation of a new electrical service/circuit in conduit from a power panel in the Engine Generator room through the facility to the exterior and then to the new vertical pivot gate operator as shown on the project drawings. Electrical connection of the new circuit conductors to the new gate operator. Installation of new conduit and control/communication/low voltage power conductors for the new card reader, intercom, and vertical pivot gate from the security system panels through the facility to the exterior and then to a new underground utility enclosure for distribution as shown on the project drawings. Interception of existing underground conduit with conductors for the existing pedestrian gate security devices and their relocation to the new underground utility enclosure for distribution as shown on the project drawings. Installation of new conduit and new control/communication/low voltage power wiring from the underground utility enclosure to the relocated pedestrian gate, the new card reader/intercom stanchion and the new vertical pivot gate operator as shown on the project drawings. Connection of all wiring to devices as required. Installation of new conduit and control/communication wiring from the security system panels to the secretary’s desk to for the new intercom and remote door release as shown on the project drawings. Connection of all wiring to devices as required. Programming to fully integrate all security system hardware installed or reinstalled into the existing facility electronic security access system. Providing a full test of the security system with FAA witnesses to include the devices installed under this contract and a portion of the existing devices to ensure correct system operation.
