Maintenance Dredging of Hudson River Federal Navigation Project – Troy Federal Lock & Dam, Troy, New York

To perform maintenance dredging of the Hudson River Federal Navigation Project. The dredged material will be transported and placed into a New York State Dept. of Environmental Conservation (DEC) approved contractor provided upland dredge material placement site. The proposed maintenance dredging will remove approx. 10,000 CY of critical shoals from the Troy Lock & Dock dredging area. Dredging will be required to a depth of -14 feet Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW) plus 1-foot allowable over depth. The dredged material is expected to consist primarily of sand and silt.
