Library Outreach Vehicle Program

Purchase of a new outreach vehicle. The primary purpose of this vehicle is to carry staff and equipment (e.g., folding tables, chairs, tents) to community events and to transport staff to professional development events. The vehicle must be a minivan or sport utility vehicle (SUV) with seating for at least 6 passengers. The total cost for the vehicle, including any specified modifications, must not exceed $60,000. The vehicle must be a 2023 model year or newer with fewer than 30,000 miles and a clear, unbranded title. If used, it must be a certified pre-owned vehicle with a remaining factory warranty. Key required features: automatic transmission, removable or storable rear passenger seats, power liftgate, power doors, ability to transport furniture up to 6 feet in length with passenger seats removed or stored away, heated and air-conditioned cabin, 2 sets of keyfobs, and a rear-view backup camera.
